Fused with the building, we rise and walk into the open-plan kitchen. Through the window, movements unfold in the opposite apartments. The sound of a radio from the flat above passes through the concrete elements separating the spaces. A perfected floor plan.
A brief stay in the white tiled bathroom. Into the elevator. Down to street level and through the city. New buildings with south-facing balconies have appeared overnight. Rows of newly planted trees in bags line the asphalt roads. The good life in the middle of the city.
Bodies move back and forth. Into yet another building and up the stairs. Sunlight enters through large glazed windows stretching from the oak floor to the acoustic ceiling, illuminating the landscape. The heat is unbearable.
